By using Swarovski beads I wanted to make a small work that looks like it is covered by sugar. A painting that becomes a candy piece. Something one almost wants to lick. All my work talks about materiality and its excess more than about the depiction of its original image. The original is more the vehicle to express my ideas about material excess and consumerism.
