The artwork 'Doge found on the Moone' perfectly encompasses Lami's reflection on key historical discoveries, whilst creating a completely modern, in some parts futuristic, vision of the world in his art. Taking inspiration from various linguistic and literary sources, he uses the old spelling 'moone' instead of contemporary moon. 'Doge' comes from the name of 'dogecoin', a new cryptocurrency storming the crypto-community and becoming a part of pop culture, especially online. As these influences come together they form an amalgamation that propels Lami's surrealistic perception forward, towards a virtually novel vision. Fictitious narratives become real as culture validates new symbols of web communities. Reality surpasses the physical world, bringing virtual, subconscious and tangible together, in a wish to touch the moon, achievable by anyone who truly believes in it.
