In Lami's moon painting, the symbol of the moon gets its meaning from different religions and cultures and focuses on the essential myth of the moon, which is the myth of transformation. In a 3D software program we transform our ideas and give them form, but they only become truly real when we can feel them with all our senses.
"...what is real and what is fiction are seamlessly blended together to such an extent, that there is no clear distinction between where one ends and the other begins."

This artistic practice focuses on how the real and the virtual are in constant dialog as our society evolves. In this painting, the idea that we must never give up on achieving our dreams is represented by a tongue playfully reaching for the moon, yearning for the unattainable, for the transformation of the virtual desires in our minds into the plane of the real and touchable.Exhibitions
