As with all Komarin titles, they have an oblique relationship or perhaps poetic relationship to the painting.
Komarin is often intrigued by the importance of the magicians assistant who has impeccable timing and grace in moving around and handing objects to the magician. Like the assistant, forms in Komarin's paintings move freely and effortlessly and change direction. The objects have are recognisable and have their place within the painting, however it is a mystery to the viewer as to how they arrived there.
