Who handles the shipping costs?
When purchasing artwork from auctions or galleries, shipping terms will vary:

• If shipping is included in the purchase agreement, it will be managed and paid for by the auction house or gallery.
• If the burden of shipping falls on you as the client, Shake Consultancy LTD will handle the logistical process on your behalf.

Will I receive an invoice for shipping?
Yes. All shipping services are invoiced through Shake Consultancy LTD. In addition to the shipping cost, we charge a transparent administrative fee for managing the process, which is clearly itemised on your invoice.

What steps are taken to ensure the safe delivery of artwork?
We collaborate exclusively with reputable art shipping and logistics companies. These providers specialise in handling delicate and high-value works, ensuring they are securely packed, transported, and delivered in optimal condition.

Can you manage international shipping?
Absolutely. We work with trusted partners experienced in international art shipping. This includes managing customs clearance, import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations to deliver your artwork across borders seamlessly. 

What happens if the artwork is damaged during shipping?
While we take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, damages can occasionally occur. We only work with insured shipping providers, and in the event of damage, we will assist you in filing claims and seeking appropriate resolutions.

Is the administrative fee negotiable?
Our administrative fee reflects the time and expertise involved in managing the logistics process. This fee ensures that every detail is professionally handled, reducing the risks and complications often associated with shipping valuable artwork.
